The "S2D" Initiator Vladimir Velev Vladimir Velev was born in January 1976 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is fluent in German and English, as well as, Bulgarian. In 1996, Vladimir moved to Innsbruck, Austria looking for opportunities to excel his career as well as to complete his college education. Parallel to his studies, he worked on developing his active career as a Dancer and Performer, until he moved to the United States in 2006. As part of one of the most successful teams in the Ballroom Dance industry on the East coast of the United States, Vladimir Velev lived and worked for the first 3 years in the US, (2006-2009) in Jupiter, Florida. After finishing his contract with the company Mr. Velev decided to move to the North part of the United States developing his skills and work between New York and Chicago. Vladimir has been involved with Ballroom Dancing since 1982. The main purpose of his hard work has been to prepare himself for a future that will enable him to share his enthusiasm and appreciation of dance. At present, Vladimirs goal is to use his ability to teach children and adults to dance. Most importantly to find joy in dancing. Vladimir is continuing his career as a professional competitive dancer. He is devoted to furthering his own education, so he can continually offer a higher level of instruction. Vladimir Velev is devoted to dance and its development.
